Deadpool 2 was released on Digital HD on August 7, 2018, and on Blu-ray and DVD on August 21, 2018. The film sold 1.8 million copies on home video in its first week, and has sold over 3.5 million copies to date.

Deadpool 2 received generally positive reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 83% approval rating based on 386 reviews, with an average rating of 6.80/10. The site's consensus reads, "Deadpool 2 delivers another dose of irreverent fun and over-the-top action, and while it doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessor, it's still a solid sequel." On Metacritic, the film has a score of 66 out of 100, based on 49 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews". Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film an average grade of "A" on an A+ to F scale.
