House of the Dragon - Rhaenys Targaryen, The Queen Who Never Was

Known as Rhaenys Velaryon as well, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen is a princess of the Targaryen dynasty. She is the daughter of Prince Aemon Targaryen and Lady Jocelyn Baratheon.

Rhaenys is a skilled dragonrider, and her dragon is named Meraxes. She is married to Lord Corlys Velaryon, and they have two children together, Laena and Laenor.

In House of the Dragon season 2 episode 4, Rhaenys heads into battle against Aegon and Aemond. Though she suffers a great loss, she is able to escape with her life. When an army led by Ser Criston Cole shows up at the castles gates, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen offers to fly with them to King's Landing to deliver a message to the Queen.
